About Royal Caribbean International

Royal Caribbean International is the world's second-largest cruise line and a pioneer of the mega-cruiser concept. Headquartered in Miami, with home ports along the US East and West Coasts, the cruise line has embodied what many think of as American cruising since 1968: gigantic ships, themed areas (Neighborhoods), onboard surf simulators, ice skating rinks, and dry slides spanning ten decks.

Royal Caribbean has operated the world's largest cruise ships since the introduction of the Oasis of the Seas (2009). Currently, the Icon of the Seas (2024, 248,663 GT, 5,610 passengers) holds the title; before that it was the Wonder of the Seas (2022) and the Symphony of the Seas (2018). The fleet comprises the Oasis class, Quantum class, Voyager class, Freedom class, Radiance class, and Vision class. The Utopia of the Seas, which entered service in 2024, is the sixth Oasis-class mega-cruiser.

The onboard language is English, and the onboard currency is the US dollar. Adventure Ocean provides childcare for children from 6 months of age, divided into several age groups. Key itinerary destinations include the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, the Mediterranean, and Asia. The private port Perfect Day at CocoCay (Bahamas) is an exclusive Royal Caribbean island with its own water park.
