About MSC Cruises
MSC Cruises is the world's largest privately owned cruise line and belongs to MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, the world's largest shipping group by container vessels. The cruise line was founded in 1987 in Naples and is today headquartered in Geneva. With over 20 active ships and an aggressive newbuild pipeline, MSC is one of the most dynamic cruise lines in existence.
The onboard concept is consistently international: Italian lifestyle, multilingual announcements (Italian, German, English, French, Spanish) and a clear ship-within-a-ship concept with the MSC Yacht Club – an exclusive premium area with private access to a pool, lounge and 24-hour butler service. The Meraviglia and Seaside classes offer Cirque du Soleil at Sea as a dinner show – a concept combining acrobatics and premium dining. MSC World Europa (2022) and MSC Euribia (2023) are among the first large LNG-powered vessels of the brand.
Route focuses include the Mediterranean (Genova, Marseille, Barcelona), Northern Europe, the Caribbean and Mediterranean transitions. The onboard currency is predominantly Euro, and US Dollar on Caribbean routes.
