The Hyperion class introduced a new generation of AIDA ships in 2016 with the AIDAprima. Its defining feature is the 4-deck-high Beach Club with a glass sliding roof. Both ships were built at Mitsubishi in Japan — the only modern AIDA ships not built by Meyer Werft.
