SeaDream Yacht Club
About SeaDream Yacht Club
SeaDream Yacht Club was founded in 2001 by Norwegian shipowner Atle Brynestad, who acquired the two former Sea Goddess yachts from Cunard and transformed them into modern mega-yachts. The company is headquartered in Oslo. The concept is consistently private-yacht in style: just 112 guests per ship, no buffet, no dress code, everything spontaneous, and the crew knows every guest by name.
The fleet consists of the identical sister ships SeaDream I and SeaDream II (both built 1984/1985, refitted in 2012). At just 4,253 GRT and 105 meters in length, they rank among the smallest commercial cruise ships in existence. A highlight on board is the Balinese Beds concept — double beds on deck under an open night sky, where guests can sleep if they wish. Champagne service on the beach during beach stops.
The on-board language is English, and the on-board currency is the US dollar. Premium all-inclusive — wine, spirits, gratuities, and water sports are all included in the fare. Primary itineraries focus on the Mediterranean (summer) and the Caribbean (winter), often with overnight stays in port. Slogan: It's yachting, not cruising.
