Seabourn Cruise Line

Seabourn was founded in 1986 in Norway, is now headquartered in Seattle, and is part of the Carnival Corporation. The cruise line ranks among the top three addresses in the ultra-luxury cruising segment. Concept: small yachts carrying 458–600 guests, 100% all-suite with veranda, consistently all-inclusive (premium spirits, wine, gratuities, water sports, even caviar at pool service).

The main fleet comprises the Odyssey class (Seabourn Odyssey 2009, Seabourn Sojourn 2010, Seabourn Quest 2011 – each 32,300 GRT, 458 guests) and the Encore class (Seabourn Encore 2016, Seabourn Ovation 2018 – each ~41,000 GRT, 600 guests). In addition, Seabourn operates two expedition ships for polar and remote routes: Seabourn Venture (2022) and Seabourn Pursuit (2023). On-board language is English, on-board currency is US dollars.

Routes: worldwide. A highlight is the Caviar in the Surf experience – a caviar service directly on the beach during beach stops. Celebrity chef Thomas Keller has curated the on-board restaurants. Target audience: affluent connoisseurs with high expectations for service.
