Atlas Ocean Voyages

Atlas Ocean Voyages was founded in 2019 by Portuguese Mystic Cruises owner Mario Ferreira and targets the US premium and luxury market. Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, the shipyard and crew background is Portuguese. Concept: boutique expedition – small, high-end polar/tropical yachts with an ice-class hull, high service standards, and remote itineraries.

The fleet consists of three sister ships of the World class: World Navigator (2021), World Voyager (2021), and World Traveller (2022) – each 9,930 GRT and 196 guests in 98 suites/cabins. All ships are Polar Code-certified (ice class 1B+) and can be deployed in both Antarctica and tropical waters. A fourth ship, World Discoverer, is planned for 2025/26.

On-board language is English, on-board currency is US dollars. All-inclusive (wine, spirits, gratuities, shore excursions). Itinerary focus areas are Antarctica and the Arctic (summer), the Caribbean, and North/South America (winter). Target audience: active seniors and nature travelers with premium expectations.
