Tips for the cruise day
Bergen is the rainiest city in Europe — always keep a rain jacket handy. Take the Floibanen early in the morning for the best view (before the midday clouds roll in). The Bryggen walk only takes 20 minutes, leaving more time for the museum and market.
Getting there & cruise terminal
Cruise pier (Skolten or Jekteviken) directly at the Bryggen quarter, everything within walking distance. Bergen-Flesland Airport by Bybanen tram approx. 45 min.
Best time to travel
May to September. Peak season June–August with long days.
